'I am worth fighting for': Jennifer Aniston, 50, reveals how she built up her confidence over time and learned to accept moments when she wasn't the 'belle of the ball'

 She's the Friends star who has been in the acting industry for over 30 years. 

But on Sunday, Jennifer Aniston revealed she wasn't always been the confident woman that she is today. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the 50-year-old actress said she used to find it difficult being in the public eye and it took her some time to adjust to fame.

'It's not always easy to turn the noise down. There are moments when you're the belle of the ball, and there are moments when you're not up to par,' she told the publication

'I am a powerful woman. I have opportunities and I can acknowledge that I know where I've come from, I know what I've gone through, and I know how fortunate and blessed I am to be where I am today,' she added. 

Jennifer is set to star in Morning Wars, known as The Morning Show overseas, a new drama for Apple TV+, a new streaming service from the tech giant. 

The #MeToo-inspired series tells the story of TV host Alex Levy (played by Jennifer) who struggles to keep her job after her partner and co-host is accused sexual misconduct.
