Though we don’t know when the clip was filmed, the style is a smart choice for spring and summer: It’s the ideal middle ground between a tank top and a full-on T-shirt, which makes it good for the transitional weather of the moment. 

Not only that, but Aniston’s black shirt gives the standard top and jeans combo both a bit of an edge and touch of femininity, thanks to its color and delicately situated shoulders, respectively.

It’s probably for those reasons that Taylor Swift is also wearing cap sleeves on repeat right now. She showed off two different versions of one in a recent YouTube short that gave fans a peek into her daily life. Cap-sleeved tees also feel a bit more polished, which inherently makes them more versatile and wearable.
